Manage access locally
Manage PINs, schedules, expiration, and revocation. Guest and service-provider lists follow the installation type, including homeowner and tenant guest lists in HOA communities.
Let’s talk ACCESS MANAGEMENT & ACCOUNTABILITY
Bring credentials, vehicles, and gate events together. Pro helps administrators manage who can enter and understand the activity behind each access decision.
One example of the information a team can review.
PURPOSE, MADE PRACTICAL
Pro is a local access controller for sites that need clear permissions and an accountable record. Staff can manage access, review associated vehicle activity, investigate alerts, and export reports.
Manage PINs, schedules, expiration, and revocation. Guest and service-provider lists follow the installation type, including homeowner and tenant guest lists in HOA communities.
Associate license-plate camera events with access history. PlateID access requires compatible equipment, sufficient read confidence, and explicit approval under site policy.
Review access events, repeated invalid PIN attempts, and vehicle activity needing attention. Staff roles separate daily access work from installation and service settings.
HOW IT WORKS
The authorized person sets access and schedules using the roles and permissions defined for that installation type.
The controller checks the credential locally. Authorized access can trigger the connected gate input; plate-based opening requires its own approval.
Staff review the recorded access decision and available camera or vehicle evidence. Shared credentials identify the responsible account, not necessarily the individual driver.
THE CAMERAS YOU ALREADY OWN
GateMagic is designed to work with the cameras you own. Most major brands are supported. Connect directly to IP cameras, or integrate analog cameras through your DVR/NVR. Guided learning helps your installer bring it all together.
GateMagic scans your local network for camera devices. Using the information it finds, the learning wizard suggests three or four likely connection recipes for your installer to try.
Your installer tests the suggested recipes. If none work, they can add a custom configuration for your camera or recorder. The wizard guides the process so technical details become less of a barrier.
Working configurations return to GateMagic for review. Evidence from successful installations helps us verify camera and image-path configurations, then add them to the library the wizard uses for future installations.
For license-plate recognition and PlateID access, your installer also verifies the camera’s plate-reading capabilities and the site’s access settings.
AT YOUR SITE
Homeowners and tenants maintain their own guest lists, while HOA administration manages separate service-provider lists. Scheduled access keeps each visit within its intended window.
Site administrators manage guest and service-provider access lists, with schedules for operational visitors, contractors, and service providers.
Local access decisions, the local dashboard, and local event history continue without Cloud Care. Remote services need connectivity. Your installer helps match cameras and readers to your installation.
